About the Game

Kiwi Cat Tree Climb is an original jumping game from Kiwi Cat Games. Kiwi Cat bounces upward automatically whenever it lands on a cat-tree platform. Your only job is to move it left and right so it lands on the next platform, climbing all the way into the sky. Go off the left side of the screen and you come back on the right – use it as a shortcut.

There are several kinds of platforms: ordinary carpeted ones, blue ones that slide side to side, cardboard boxes that collapse after one bounce, and pink spring cushions that launch you sky-high. Fish snacks float in the air now and then for bonus points. The higher you climb, the farther apart the platforms get, the more of them move or collapse, and the sky turns from day to dusk to night.

Fall off the bottom of the screen and the game ends. Your score is the height you reached (in centimeters) plus your fish snack points, and your high score is saved in your browser. A game takes about 1 to 3 minutes. All art and sound were drawn and synthesized in code by Kiwi Cat Games.

How to Play Kiwi Cat Tree Climb

1. Press Start Game. Kiwi Cat starts on the floor and bounces upward on its own.
2. Swipe left and right (or move the mouse or use the arrow keys on a computer) so Kiwi Cat lands on the platforms above.
3. Go off the left side of the screen and you reappear on the right, and vice versa.
4. Boxes collapse after one bounce, spring cushions launch you high, and fish snacks are worth bonus points.
5. Fall off the bottom of the screen and the game ends. Your score is your height plus fish snacks – how high can you climb?

Controls

Phone and tablet

• Press and slide your finger left or right – Kiwi Cat moves toward your finger.
• Top right pauses the game or mutes the sound.

Computer

• Move the mouse and Kiwi Cat follows it left and right (no need to click).
• You can also move with the left and right arrow keys, or A and D.
• Top right pauses the game or mutes the sound.

Tips and Strategy

• While you're bouncing up, pick out the next platform to land on and move over early.
• If there's no platform nearby, try wrapping through the edge of the screen to the other side – it's often closer.
• Boxes can only be bounced on once, so look for the next safe platform right after.
• Head for spring cushions whenever you see them – one bounce can skip several levels.
