About the Game

Meow Link is a pair-matching link puzzle with original artwork from Kiwi Cat Games. The board is packed with 15 kinds of cat items: fish, yarn balls, bells, tuna cans, boxes and more. Tap two identical tiles, and if they can be joined by a line that turns no more than twice and doesn't pass through other tiles, both disappear. The line may run through the empty space around the edge of the board.

Every level is timed: clear all the tiles before the time bar runs out to win, and the more time you have left, the more stars you earn. Quick matches in a row add bonus time. There's no limit on levels. Boards get bigger with more kinds of items, and from level 6 every even level is a falling stage, where tiles above drop down to fill the gaps after each match.

Can't find a pair? Press Hint (3 per level) to highlight one, or Shuffle (2 per level) to mix up the remaining tiles. If no pairs are left anywhere on the board, the game shuffles for you automatically, so you'll never be stuck. All art and sound were drawn and synthesized in code by Kiwi Cat Games.

How to Play Meow Link

1. Press Start Game, then choose Continue or pick any unlocked level from the list.
2. Tap one tile, then tap another identical tile.
3. If a line with at most two turns that doesn't cross other tiles can connect them, both disappear. The line can go around the outside of the board.
4. Clear every tile before the time bar runs out to win. More time left means more stars.
5. Stuck? Use a hint or a shuffle. If there are no pairs left at all, the board shuffles automatically.

Controls

Phone and tablet

• Tap two identical tiles to try to link and clear them.
• Hint and Shuffle are at the bottom. Top left goes back to the level list; top right pauses or mutes.

Computer

• Click two identical tiles with the mouse.
• You can also play with just the keyboard: arrow keys move the pink cursor, Space or Enter selects a tile, H for a hint, S to shuffle.

Tips and Strategy

• Clear the tiles around the outside and along the edges first – that slowly opens up paths through the middle.
• Two identical tiles in the same row or column with nothing between them can always be linked.
• On falling stages, clear the bottom first. Tiles drop down and often form new pairs on their own.
• Quick matches in a row add time, so when you spot a pair, tap it right away.
