About the Game

Kiwi Cat Paw Pairs is an original memory card game from Kiwi Cat Games. Every card starts face down and you flip two at a time. If they match, they stay face up; if not, they flip back over, so you need to remember where you saw them. Match every card to clear the level. The cards show 10 different cats plus 10 cat favorites, from fish and yarn balls to bells, cans of tuna and kiwis.

There are 30 levels, growing from 6 cards on a 2×3 grid to 36 cards on a 6×6 grid. Later levels add twists: timed levels where you race the clock, levels that give you a 3-second peek at the start, mischief levels where two face-down cards secretly swap places every few moves, and triple sets where you need to find three matching cards. Each level awards 1 to 3 stars based on moves and time.

There's also a Daily Challenge. The layout is set by today's date, so everyone gets the same deck on the same day – compare your move count with friends. Level progress, stars and daily records are saved in your browser. Every card design and sound was drawn and synthesized in code by Kiwi Cat Games, and Kiwi Cat cheers you on from the side.

How to Play Kiwi Cat Paw Pairs

  1. Press Start Game and choose a level (only level 1 is open at first; each win unlocks the next), or play the Daily Challenge at the top.
  2. Tap a face-down card to flip it, then flip a second one. If the two match, they stay on the table.
  3. If they don't match, they stay up for a moment and flip back. Remember where they are so you can go straight to them later.
  4. Cards marked “×3” in the corner are triple sets – flip all three to make a match. In mischief levels, two cards wobble before they swap, so watch where they go.
  5. Match every card to clear the level. Fewer moves and less time earn more stars (up to 3). If a timed level runs out, just try again.

Controls

Phone and tablet

  • Tap a face-down card to flip it.
  • Top left goes back to the level list; top right pauses or mutes.

Computer

  • Click a face-down card to flip it.
  • You can also play with just the keyboard: arrow keys move the pink cursor, Enter or Space flips a card, and Tab moves between the on-screen buttons.
  • Top left goes back to the level list; top right pauses or mutes.

Tips and Strategy

  • Don't flip at random. Flip a card you haven't seen yet first – if you've already seen its partner, go straight to it for the second flip.
  • Flip in a fixed order, such as row by row from the top left. It makes positions much easier to remember.
  • Give the pictures nicknames or say them in your head (“top left is the ginger cat, next to it is the tuna can”). It sticks far better than just looking.
  • On sneak-peek levels, focus on memorizing one or two corners rather than the whole table.
  • In mischief levels, two cards wobble before swapping. Follow them with your eyes and you won't be fooled.
  • For triple sets, find all three positions first and flip them in one go. If the third card doesn't match, all three flip back.

FAQ

Can I play a memory card game online without downloading anything?

Yes – Kiwi Cat Paw Pairs runs in your browser. Open this page and press Start Game on your phone or computer. No app, no sign-up.

Is there a memory game that helps me practice remembering things?

Kiwi Cat Paw Pairs is all about remembering where each card is. It grows from 6 cards to 36 and adds timed rounds and swapping cards, which makes it a fun way to challenge yourself. It's a casual game, not a medical or therapy tool – just enjoy it.

Is Kiwi Cat Paw Pairs free?

Yes, completely free. All 30 levels and the Daily Challenge are playable right away with no download or sign-up.

How many levels are there, and how do I earn stars?

There are 30 levels plus a new Daily Challenge every day. Clearing a level earns 1 star; finishing within the move and time targets shown at the top earns 2 or 3. Three stars on every level makes 90 stars.

What is the Daily Challenge? Is it different every day?

The Daily Challenge uses today's date to set the card layout and level twists, so everyone gets the same deck on the same day, and a new one appears tomorrow. You can replay it as often as you like; the game keeps your best result for the day and your streak.

What are swapping cards and triple sets?

In mischief levels, every few moves two face-down cards wobble and then trade places. Triple sets are cards marked “×3” – you need to flip all three matching cards to make a match.

Is my progress saved? Will I lose it if I switch phones?

Your cleared levels, stars, best move counts and daily records are saved in your own browser – no login needed. Clearing browser data, using private browsing or switching devices resets them.

What ages is Kiwi Cat Paw Pairs suitable for?

There's no violence or inappropriate content, so it's great for all ages. The only rules are “flip and match,” which makes it very easy to pick up.
